During this session, we explored how data quality plays a key role in informed decision-making in Vocational Education and Training (VET), employment, and social data analysis—and how artificial intelligence can support more efficient data management.
About the session
The webinar was delivered by Corneliu Cofaru, who presented a data linter developed in R designed to:
- Detect inconsistencies and errors
- Identify potential data quality issues
- Support automated validation and cleaning processes
Originally developed for the Integrated Database on VET Work-Based Learning Placements, the tool is highly adaptable and can be applied to a wide range of datasets, particularly in the social, education, and labour-market domains.
